Large Lophodolithus with an asymmetric wing at one end and a distinctive angular ‘corner’ at the other end, where the rim side and end meet. Central area with disjunct, complex, tranverse bar.
Bilaterally symmetrical Lophodolithus without a bar
Large Lophodolithus with a broad, near-symmetric wing at one end and central area spanned by a disjunct tranverse bar. Rim is narrowly elliptical at the opposite end to the wing.
Strongly asymmetric Lophodolithus with proment wing and wide bar
Large, slightly asymmetric Lophodolithus with a narrow, asymmetric wing at one end; central area with disjunct tranverse bar.
Lophodolithus with kidney-shaped ouline.
Large to very large, broadly elliptical to subcircular Lophodolithus with a very broad (~half the length of the rim), near-symmetric wing at one end. No central area structures observed. Wing elements clearly visible in LM.

Distinguishing features: Modified muroliths with high walls (higher at one end and forming an asymmetric flange) and wide central area usually spanned by a disjunct, complex tranverse bar.
