Distinguishing features: Axopodorhabdus with axial cross structure bearing a tall, hollow spine. The four holes delineated by the cross bars are often near circular.


Morphology remarks: The younger Axopodorhabdus dietzmannii has an elongated rim with flattened sides (oblong shaped).

Geological Range:
Notes: May range as high as upper Valanginian in the Pacific ocean (Bown, 2005)
