Original Description
Cellulae sine membrana cellularum, ellipsoideae vel irregulariter rotundato-triangulares, inter- dum reniformes, dorso-ventraliter complanatae, 5-8- 12 μm longae, 6- 8 μm latae, 4-5 μm crassae, sulco ventrali longitudinali, in muco stratoso viventes. Chromatophorus unicus, parietalis, brunneus, sine pyrenoide et stigmate. Cytoplasma hyalinum granulis ellipticis duobus conspicuis, 2- 3,5 μm longis, 1- 2 μm Iatis et vacuola contractili una instructum. Zoosporae dorso-ventraliter complanatae ± ellipticae vel ovatae, asymmetricae, 7-10-12 μm longae, 5-9 μm latae, 3-5 μm crassae, flagellis binis sine ma.stigonematibus, valde unaequalibus et haptonemate brevi, ventraliter insertis. Chromatophorus unicus, parietalis, pyrenoide et stigmate carens. Cytoplasma vacuolis contractilibus duobus instructum. Cellula granulis ellipticis conspicuis duobus in parte posteriore sitis.
