Distinguishing features: Watznaueria with broad central-area spanned by radial bars

Citation: Cyclagelosphaera baticlypeata Bukry 1969
Rank: Species
Taxonomic discussion: This species should be probably be reclassified in Watznaueria since it is clearly elliptical rather than circular. Alternatively the genus Coptolithus could be used for Watznaueria specimens with grills but this does not seem a satisfactory option since there is little similarity between the central grills of W. rawsonii, W. fasciata and C. balticlypeata.
