Citation: Cyclagelosphaera baticlypeata (Black 1973) Bukry 1969
Rank: Species
Basionym: Coptolithus virgatus Black 1973
Notes & discussion: This species should be probably be reclassified in Watznaueria since it is clearly elliptical rather than circular. Alternatively the genus Coptolithus could be used for Watznaueria specimens with grills but this does not seem a satisfactory option since there is little similarity between the central grills of W. rawsonii, W. fasciata and C. balticlypeata.
