Variants: These are all very similar in morphology and stratigraphic range, so for practical taxonomy separating them does not seem productive. See Aubry et al. (2011, 2012) for explanation of the differences. Monechi et al. (2012, 2013) do not separate them.

Distinguishing features: Cylindrical column with narrow waist and a wide, disc-like apical cycle that is crystallographically distinct.
