Distinguishing features: Lithraphidites with four narrow, triangular processes projecting orthogonally from a position at or near the centre of the main rod.
Morphology remarks: Lithraphidites acutus eccentricus and Lithraphidites acutus acutus may be palaeobiogeographic variants (Watkins in Watkins & Bowdler, 1984).
