Distinguishing features: Tubodiscids with low proximal collar cycle and wide central-area.


Daughter taxa: (blue => in age window 0-800Ma)
Large to very large (8-15 µm) coccoliths with narrow rim and wide, vacant central area. The rim is bicyclic in XPL and the outer edge of the brighter inner cycle is distinctly beaded.
