Morphology remarks: Boreal distribution.

Geological Range:
Notes: Originally described from the Early Valanginian (Jakubowski 1986). A broader occurence has been observed in the Danish Sector of the North Sea, from Upper Barremian down to the Lower Hauterivian (E. Sheldon pers. comm. 2015).
Last occurrence (top): within Late Barremian Substage (126.30-129.41Ma, top in Barremian stage). Data source: E. Sheldon pers. comm.
First occurrence (base): within Early Valanginian Substage (136.41-139.39Ma, base in Valanginian stage). Data source: Jakubowski, 1986 (original description)
