Classification: Mesozoic -> Podorhabdales -> Biscutaceae -> Seribiscutum -> Seribiscutum primitivum
Sister taxa: S. bijugum, S. primitivum, S. sp.,

Distinguishing features: Biscutacean placolith with central-area spanned by around four broad platelets that zig-zag across the central area. Weakly bicyclic rim image.

Taxonomy:

Citation: Seribiscutum primitivum (Thierstein, 1974) Filewicz et al. in Wind & Wise 1983
Rank: Species
Basionym: Cribrosphaerella primitiva Thierstein, 1974
Notes & discussion: The combination was initially proposed in Filewicz, Wind & Wise in Wise & Wind 1977 but the original publication was not cited directly hence the proposal was technically invalid and so was proposed again, validly, in  Wind & Wise 1983
