Distinguishing features: Cavate holococcolith with internal walls and distal protrusions
Morphology remarks: "Holococcoliths with a complex structure, as seen in side view. In XPL, rotated to 45 ̊, the rim and proximal plate are thin, birefringent and clearly visible. Encased within these is a blocky structure, from the distal surface of which emanate four ‘prongs’." [Lees 2007]
