Distinguishing features: Cavate holococcolith with box-shape, high rim and thin proximal plate, short spine on distal surface
Morphology: "A cavate, box-shaped holococcolith. At 0 ̊, in side view in XPL, the rim is relatively tall and the proximal plate thin. A bipar- tite structure/short spine sits atop the rim, completing the box shape. The spine is not visible on rotation." [Lees 2007]
