Original Description
"Test planispiral, much compressed, roughly elliptical in outline; sutures distinct, strongly depressed; chambers slightly lobulate, increasing very rapidly in size and height, usually 6 in the adult coil; walls very finely punctate. "From most similar to Hantkenina longispina Cushman, but with the latter chambers even more elongated, and the spines shorter and more slender. Early chambers not visible."
