Original description: Globotruncana walfischensis Todd 1970: "Test high conical with depressed umbilicus; periphery only slightly lobulated, marked by a limbate beaded keel and a secondary keel less strongly developed; chambers distinct, 5 making up the final whorl; early chambers globular, inflated, and tight-coiled, later ones flattened and not inflated; sutures distinct, depressed between the later chambers, curved and oblique on the dorsalside, radiating outward from the umbilicus on the ventral side; wall ornamented by coarse pustules over the initial chambers, later part of test finely spinose between the beaded sutures; aperture unobserved, presumably covered by the umbilical tegilla. Diameter 0.30-0.45 mm; height 0.25-0.32 mm."
