Original description: Test small; pores large relative to size of test, widely separated and evenly distributed; very low trochospire of 3 volutions of ovate chambers that increase gradually in size as added; usually 6 overlapping chambers in the last whorl; last chamber large, offset toward the umbilicus, sometimes, obscuring it completely; sutures depressed, radial, slightly curved; periphery lobulate, broadly rounded; primary aperture interiomarginal, extraumbilical; remnants of porticus often preserved.
