Original Description
"Test trochoid, planoconvex, dorsal side plane or slightly convex and ventral side strongly convex, peripheral border lobulate and keeled but not sharp; chambers in two spiral whorls; all visible on the dorsal side and on the ventral side only the six or seven of the last whorl which gradually increase in size, sutures of the chambers depressed, slightly oblique on the dorsal side and radial on the ventral side; umbilicus large where one can see some of the chambers of the primary portion of the test; wall thin, completely covered by short spines; aperture as a narrow groove at the base of the septal face of the last chamber. Diameter 0.50mm.; height 0.25 mm."
