Original Description
Those genera of the Favusellacea which do not possess a favose surface structure of fused pseudomuricae forming an anastomosing reticulation.

Often cited as  Conoglobigerinidae BouDagher-Fadel et al. 1997 but the description appears in the chapter by Simmons et al. (1997)
