Original Description
Members of this superfamily have a macroperforate, calcitic, trochospiral test with a rounded periphery or one that is angled with a muricocarina, and a smooth surface. The primary aperture is intraumbilical or intra-extraumbilical with no bullae. Chambers may be radially clavate and supplementary, sutural, spiral apertures may be present. The periphery may be angular or rounded in peripheral view and may be smooth or with imperforate carina.
