Original Description
Moderate in size, fairly robust; moderately elevated dextral trochospire, fairly loose parallel and especially perpendicular to axis. Equatorial outline moderately lobate; lateral outline weakly biconvex. Chambers globular, weakly appressed, at least 9 (13?) in total, 4 in final whorl; increase moderate until second-last chamber when slowed. Dorsal view: chambers slightly longer concentrically, weakly inflated; sutures moderately depressed; intercameral sutures radial. Ventral view: chambers moderately highly inflated, intercameral sutures radial; umbilicus moderately wide; aperture a high arch, umbilical--extraumbilical, highest near periphery. Lateral view: smoothly rounded. Wall densely perforate with pustules on elevated interpore ridges.

Size: Length, 290 µm; width 270 µm; height, 235 µm.

Etymology: Greek, anapetes, wide open, expanded.
