Original Description
The test is calcitic, microperforate, and initially trochospiral, becoming streptospiral. The surface sometimes has pustules. The umbilicus is terminally embraced by the primary chamber. Supplementary sutural apertures are found on the dorsal and ventral sides or on the ventral side only. Primary apertures are multiple and may be areal or sutural. The aperture is extraumbilical, and always bullate. Bullae may cover all primary apertures in adult.
