Original Description
"Test spherical, distinctly perforate, chambers spirally arranged, very rapidly increasing in size as added and greatly overlapping. The last chamber bears 3 almost circular apertures, situated along the inner margin of the last chamber and separated from each other by about 90 arc degrees. Sutures only slightly depressed and chambers hardly, if at all, inflated. In well-preserved faunae, the species can easily be recognized by its very large ultimate chamber and the 3 conspicuous circular apertures. Diameter ranging between 0.37 and 0.55 mm.
