Original description: "Test large, strongly spiroconvex, coiled in a high trochospire. Spiral side strongly convex, umbilical side convex. Equatorial periphery circular, slightly lobate with a double keel composed of one primary and strongly beaded keel and a weakly developed secondary keel visible in the umbilical side of the periphery. Chambers arranged in 4 whorls increasing in size in the direction of coiling. Initial chambers small and globular and followed by larger, subpetaloid chambers becoming gradually larger in the direction of coiling. Final whorl composed of subpetaloid chambers on spiral side, on umbilical side ovoid chambers elongated in the direction of coiling. Sutures on spiral side curved, raised and strongly beaded, on umbilical side slightly curved, raised in the beginning of the last whorl and finally become depressed. Umbilicus raised in the beginning of the last whorl and finally become depressed. Umbilicus wide and deep, surrounded by periumbilical ridges and covered by tegilla. Primary aperture interiomarginal umbilical. Accessory apertures intralaminal. Surface smooth. Wall calcareous, perforate except for tegilla and keels."
