Taxonomy
Original description: Translated from Russian: Test small, low trochospiral, subquadratic in contour, convexo-concave in edge view. Spiral side is low convex. Umbilical side is slightly concave. Two whorls with 4 chambers in each one. Chambers very compact in an inner whorl, and become less tightly packed in the last whorl. Periphery rounded and widely-scalloped. Sutures slightly curved, just a little depressed. Aperture umbilical, arched, with thin lip. Umbilicus wide. Test calcareous, porous; pores oval, 0.4 - 1.5 microns in size, 25-35 pores in 100 square microns area. Surface covered with pustules and cells. Cells separated by pustules and ridges, and irregular in shape.
