Emended description: Test trochospiral, biconvex slightly asymmetrical; equatorial periphery lobate; axial periphery angular, single keel formed by a double row of alternating pustules, becoming very closely spaced in the later part of the test. Chambers trapezoidal with an undulated surface on spiral side; trapezoidal becoming reniform on umbilical side; 5-7 chambers in final whorl. On spiral side sutures raised, forming a low angle with the preceding spiral suture. On umbilical side the sutures are V-shaped, raised and continuing along the umbilicus as periumbilical ridges. Umbilicus wide and shallow. Aperture interiomarginal, extraumbilical-umbilical, with portici. [copied from Chronos database]

Plot of occurrence data:

Dec 2017 - Plotting of Neptune data has been re-enabled on the Mesozoic pages following revision of the age-models in Neptune. The data is, however, still very sparse for the Early Cretaceous
