Original description: Wall macroperforate, surface with pustules irregularly scattered on test surface, sometimes becoming aligned as costellae without a preferential alignment direction. Test low trochospiral, biconvex, equatorial periphery subcircular, moderately lobulate, peripheral margin rounded. Chambers inflated and globular, 5-7 (usually 6) in final whorl, uniformly and gradually increasing in size. Sutures depressed, straight and radial. Umbilicus moderately narrow and deep. Aperture an interiomarginal, extraumbilical-umbilical with a low arch bordered by portici.
