Original description: Test biserial, with subquadrate adult chambers. Costae thick, continuous, following the curve of the chambers. Aperture a high arc, with small flanges that curve away from the aperture. Up to 4 adult chambers may have accessory apertures that are covered by a tubelike lid, directed toward the median suture
