Original Description
Test rapidly flaring in the juvenile part, sides subparallel in the adult. Chambers pinched along the edge, giving an acute to keeled periphery. In the adult, the periphery may become more rounded. Surface covered by discontinuous costae; sutures depressed. Last 2 to 4 chambers with accessory apertures with a short tube-like extension, directed to the median suture.
