Original Description
Members of this superfamily have a calcitic, macroperforate, muricate test. Peripheral muricocarina may be present. The axial periphery may be rounded to acutely angular. The primary aperture is intraumbilical, or intra-extraumbilical with a thin lip, but with no porticus or tegillum. Supplementary dorsal apertures may be present. Walls are muricate, but without spines, spine-bases, spinules, or pustules.
