Sub-globular, low trochospiral with umbilical bulla

Aperture: Interiomarginal umbilical covered by an arched bulla with a single infralaminal aperture on one side [Aze 2011, based on Kennett & Srinivasan 1983]

Like Gq. dehiscens but test more rounded and less quadrate, 3 chambers in final whorl; apertural face lower and narrower, directly facing the umbilicus.

Like G. altiapertura but smaller with smaller primary aperture, and single small supplementary aperture
Like G. peripheroronda but with a more circular outline and lower convex umbilical side
