Original description: [Spherical, without distinct chambers; with some curved thick spines, and everywhere covered with graceful spines; with a sense network of smaller contiguous pores on the surface; the spine of the suture large and straight. Diameter without spines 60 µ, 19 spines on the margin, the three larger ones 60 µ, the smaller more delicate ones approximately 15 µ. Approximately 10 pores on the diameter.
