[Roundish shell, whose diameters are as 8: 9; diameter of the opening 1/10 of the big diameter of the shell. Cortical shell not porous, covered by a reticular screen of small ribs, which draw almost regular four-sided roundish pores. (Translation from German by J.P.C.)]
Long diameter 170µm, wide diameter 130µm, opening diameter 33µm, length of the cylindrical peristome 17µm; bars of the screen 1.6µm, pores 10µm.
Very rare. Distinguishing characters (rw): Ich hatt früher diese Form zu Carpocanium gestellt, doch scheint es mir gereschtfertigt, ein neues Genus darauf zu gründen.
[I have previously described this form as Carpocanium, but it no longer seems to be right, and a new genus is, thus, made.]
