Original Description
[Three-segmented, with undulating margin; cephalis subglobose, porous, with a strong 'horn and a decurrent rib. Second segment campanulate, with very numerous, contiguous, small pores in longitudinal rows. Third segment wider, with very large round pores, and with longitudinal rows of teeth on the margin; with three unequal, obtuse appendages. Length without appendages 140 µ, of cephalis 15 µ, of second segment 37 µ, of third segment 75 µ, of largest appendage 90 µ, of frontal horn 11 µ. Maximum breadth 140 µ. Approx. 4 smaller pores in 23 µ, diameter of one larger pore 23 µ. (Translated from Latin by E.M.R. and W.R.R.)]
