Original description: Skelet wird durch mehrere einzelne, solide Spicula von zweierlei oder mehrerlei verschiedener Gestalt vertreten, welche gewöhnlich in tangentialer Lagerungrings, um jede der gesellig verbundenen Centralkapseln in deren Matrix zerstreut sind.
