Original description: Testae enucleatae e cellulis binis (longitudinaliter constrictae) aut e cellulis appositis multis coalitae. (Effusae planae aut teretes et subglobosae). Testarum cellulae concentricae aut spirales, tenues plurimae, passim ordine nullo spongiosae. Testae radiatae in stellae

formam abeuntes (spongiosae). Radiis liberis, simpliciter stiliformibus.


Translated description: Test enucleate, with two chambers (longitudinally constricted), or formed of many chambers grown together (spread in a plane or rounded and subglobose). Chambers of test concentric or spiral, mostly delicate, spongy and irregular. Test radiate, in a stellate form (spongy). Radii free, simply styliform. (Translated from Latin by E.M.R. and W.R.R.)]
