Original description: [Globose, with a rough-dentate margin, with distinct medium-sized pores; with two sulcate spines, one shorter, thickened subapically like a crown, the other longer and thin; inner chamber indistinct. Diameter without spines 72 µ. Approx. 2 ½ pores in 23 µ. Length of the larger spine 59 µ, of the smaller 37 µ. (Translated from Latin by E.M.R. and W.R.R.)
