Original description: Diagnosis: Glabrous Conochitinidae (surface smooth or roughened); chamber club-shaped to sub-cylindrical; aboral margin rounded; membranous sleeve, tubular, bulbous, or detached, extending from the aboral pole; inter-chamber connections are fragile when present.
