Parent taxon (Orthorhabdus): Elongate nannoliths formed of three blades, with c-axis perpendicular to length. Usually curved and asymmetric. Shows low to moderate birefringence.
This taxon: Orthorhabdus species similar to O. rugosus but with subsidiary ridges on one of the lateral blades.
