Citation: Tectulithus Miniatti Cappelli & Monechi 2021
taxonomic rank: genus
Basionym: Tectulithus Miniatti Cappelli & Monechi 2021
Type species: "Fasciculithus ulii Perch-Nielsen, 1971"
Taxonomic discussion: This genus is distinctive. The specimens show significant variation but it is not clear how many species are present, Miniati et al. (2021) recognise six species, but this may prove excessive.

Distinguishing features:
Parent taxon (Fasciculithaceae): Conical or cylindrical discoasteralids consisting of 10-30 wedge-shaped, radially-arranged elements, in one to three superposed cycles.
This taxon: Complex fasciculiths - formed of two discrete cycles; no fenestrae
