Distinguishing features:
Parent taxon (Palaeomicula): Nannolith formed of four blocks, nannolith shape is approx square with diagonal sutures, elements show tangential crystallographic orientations
This taxon: Almost square, sutures run to corners of nannolith, elements wedge-shaped and outline notched
