Taxonomic discussion: This species is not widely reported but it seems to be the only very small murolith with a tranverse bar described from the Late Cretaceous. [my interpretation - JRY 2020]

Notes: The species does not seem to hve been recorded since its descrition so the range is essentially unknown. [my interpretation - JRY 2020]
