Original description: Skelet besteht aus einer biconvex-linsenförmigen extracapsularen Rindenschale, welche von den beiden Polen der stark verkürsten Längsaxe aus zusammenwächste und sich durch radiale, die linsenförmige Centralkapsel durchbohrende Stäbe mit der kugeligen concentrischen intracapsularen Markschalen verbinden.
