Medium to large, subcircular to circular Ericsonia with a moderately broad upper-tube cycle and central area that is less than the rim width.
Morphology:
In XPL, the upper-tube cycle appears to be narrower than that seen in typical Ericsonia coccoliths and broader than that seen in C. pelagicus. The outer edge of the upper-tube cycle shows a distinct beaded appearance at certain focus points.
