Citation: Hornibrookina australis Edwards & Perch-Nielsen, 1975Rank: SpeciesTaxonomic discussion: Similar to Hornibrookina teuriensis Edwards, 1973 but reported as smaller and less regular in outline. Also may lack a longitudinal component in the central grill.
Distinguishing features: Small to medium sized, narrowly elliptical to lenticular, arched, central area with 8-10 pairs of lateral bars.
