This taxon: Rod-shaped nannolith with parallel sides and a relatively wide axial canal. The outer surfaces are irregular.

Taxonomic discussion: The gypsum plate images (R Howe 1145.jpg & R howe 1151.jpg) show that the c-axes are perpendicluar to the nannolith length. This supports inclusion in Lithraphidites
