Sister taxa: S. biskayae, S. dimidius, S. kanungoi, S. pseudobiskayae, S. sp. cf. S. biskayae, S. tentorium, N. figularia, N. hexaporus, S. sp.

Citation: Naninfula figularia Perch-Nielsen 1968
Rank: Species
Taxonomic discussion: This looks like a holococcolith although it is not possible to be certain from the published TEM. Naninfula is now regarded as junior synonym of Blackites, and in any case a heterococcolith genus so this species should be recombined in a holococcolith gnus. Semihololithus would probably be the most appropriate choice.

Distinguishing features: Broadly elliptical coccolith with low tube and high distal cover with four very large openings
