Taxonomy:
Distinguishing features: Murolith (loxolith) coccoliths with relatively narrow rim and wide central area spanned by axial cross bars. The cross is usually spine bearing. Inner/proximal rim cycle is variably developed and so the LM image may be unicyclic or bicyclic.
