Taxonomy:
Pseudozygrhablithus Haq 1971 (all species synonimised with Z. bijugatus)
Distinguishing features: Spinose holococcoliths, which are birefringent in side view. In plan view the coccoliths are non-birefringent with a distinct figure-of-eight shaped central structure.
