Taxonomy:

Citation: Other nannoliths with tangential c-axes
Taxonomic rank: family
Taxonomic discussion: This is an informal grouping. The tangetial c-axis orientation suggests these genera belong to one or other of the families included here in the Braarudosphaerales.  Acadialithus, Rucinolithus and Hayesites are three oher gnera that are currently placed in the more geberal Nannoliths incertae sedis category that might belong here.  [my interpretation - JRY 2019]

Distinguishing features:
Parent taxon (Braarudosphaerales): 2N(?) cell covered by nannoliths with lamellar sub-structure and tangential C-axes. N: cell motile, covered by scales
This taxon: Genera incertae sedis with radial structure and tangential c-axis orientation
