Original Description This nov. gen. is evolved from one species of the genus Archaeoglobigerina PESSAGNO 1967, and is characterized by wall-structure typical of the genus Archaeoglobigerina and by spines arranged in two lines which are typical of Archaeoglobitruncana nov. gen. Size: Etymology: the composed name is derived from abbreviations of the genus Archaeoglobigerina — Archaeoglobi —; and Globotruncana — truncana). Extra details from original publication
