Original Description

This nov. gen. is evolved from one species of the genus Archaeoglobigerina PESSAGNO 1967, and is characterized by wall-structure typical of the genus Archaeoglobigerina and by spines arranged in two lines which are typical of Archaeoglobitruncana nov. gen.

the composed name is derived from abbreviations of the genus Archaeoglobigerina — Archaeoglobi —; and Globotruncana — truncana).
