Original Description Translation from the Russian. - Test high and narrow, weakly compressed bilaterally, its height two to three times the width. Lateral outlines at first subtriangular, later almost parallel. Outer margin lobate. Initial end sharply angular, initial angle 30-45°. Apertural end broadly rounded. Test formed by 10-12 chambers, at first low, about one and a half to two times wider than high; last two pairs of chambers high, sphe roidal; freely arranged. Sutures at first weakly depressed, later deep. Aperture semicircular, basal. Wall thin, smooth, semitransparent. Surface lustrous or matte. Size: [Dimensions. - Height 0.45, width 0.28, thickness 0.1 6 mm. Extra details from original publication Variability. - In this species the dimorphism is clearly expressed. The microspheric form is represented by wide wedge-shaped tests with a sharp initial end, parallel sides in the later growth stage and seven-eight chambers per row (fig. 7). The megalospheric form is expressed by narrow tests with a large proloculus (up to 20 microns) and five to six chambers in a row (fig. 8).
Comparison. - The species described is close to Chiloguembelina morsei Kline, from which it differs by its higher, almost spheroidal chambers and low, semilunate aperture.
