Original Description
Juvenile stage planispiral after abrupt 90° shift in coiling direction at proloculus-juvenile stage boundary, third and subsequent chambers coiled around proloculus-deuteroconch complex, proloculus on umbilical side; umbilicus open; aperture of deuteroconch opposite proloculus deuteroconch suture, subsequently equatorial with umbilical flange curving inward to spiral side; wall non-spinose, pustulate, finely macroperforate: pustules shark tooth-like, pointing away from aperture; pores non-sutural, irregularly distributed.
Neanic stage trochospiral; umbilicus closing producing pseudo-umbilicus; aperture migrating to umbilical-extra~mbilical position, inward-curved part of flange reduced; chamber wall peripherally perforate; otherwise as juvenile
Adult stage with rounded axial chamber periphery; otherwise as late neanic stage.
Terminal stage as adult.
